Lisa Cracchiolo Tush

Lisa Tush has nearly 20 years of public relations experience, having worked at four major agencies in Los Angeles. The majority of her time was spent on client work focused on developing communications elements ranging from press materials to customer newsletters. She worked on name-brand accounts including Bridgestone Tires, Epson Computers, Hilton Hotels Corp., Metrolink and Star System ATM network. Additionally, she has experience in media relations and organizing special events.

In 2005, she transitioned from her public relations career to teaching language arts at the junior high level. She has taught at two Catholic elementary schools in Los Angeles for 10 years, focusing on literary analysis and writing instruction. She excels in working with students on content, organization and the mechanics of their writing.

In addition to substitute teaching, Tush volunteers at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she is an executive in residence in the business school. She works with students enrolled in the sales track to prepare them for job interviews. She provides counsel on résumés, letters of recommendation, job selection and practice interview skills.

Tush graduated from USC in 1984 with a degree in journalism, public relations sequence. She also earned a California teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles in 2005.
