Michael J. Cody, Ph.D., is a professor in the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where he teaches and conducts research on social influence processes. He has co-authored two text books, Persuasive Communication and Interpersonal Communication: A Goal-based Approach; and he has co-edited five books: The Psychology of Tactical Communication, Explaining the Self to Others, Gender, Power, and Communication in Human Relationships, Entertainment-Education and Social Change and Serious Games: Mechanisms and Effects.
