Nithya Muthuswamy, PhD

Dr. Muthuswamy’s interests focus on communications that transcend cultural and national boundaries. Her research critically examined the use of fear appeals as a strategy in promoting condom usage toward preventing HIV/AIDS in Namibia. Dr. Muthuswamy received her master’s and Ph.D. in Communication from Michigan State University.
